What is Budecort Respule 0.5?
Budecort Respule 0.5 is used to treat nasal allergy symptoms including runny noses, itchiness, irritation, sneezing, and stuffy noses. It has also been proven to reduce inflammation of the airways, alleviating any breathing difficulties. This medication is taken on a regular bases to help prevent attacks and manage the condition and its symptoms.
Please note that this product should not be used by patients aged under 4 years of age. In addition, this medication should not be used to treat asthma attacks.
How is Budecort used?
Adult patients prescribed Budecort Respule 0.5 are usually instructed to administer sprays of between 0.5mg and 2mg twice a day. Children and other patients who are weaker than the average health adult are usually prescribed a reduced dosage, as determined by their health care provider.
Adverse effects
Side effects which could be experienced by patients using Budecort Respule 0.5 include:
- Soreness
- Tingling
- Hives
- Inflammation
- Swelling
- Breathing trouble
- Nausea
- Stomach pains
- Abdomen pains
- Headaches
- Hoarse voice
- Headaches
- Mood changes
- Weight loss
- Loss of appetite
Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Budecort Respule 0.5 is not always suitable for all patients. Always consult your health care provider prior to using this medication if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, using any other medication (prescription or non-prescription), using any herbal products or supplements, or if you have any allergies or other health problems such as pulmonary TB (tuberculosis) or any liver disorders or conditions of any kind.
The correct dosage and prescription commonly depend on the patient and the condition being treated. Do not adjust your dosage without the approval of your health care provider. This product is only for use as prescribed and instructed. |
