What is Budenase AQ Nasal Spray?
Budenase AQ Nasal Spray is a medication given to help with nasal allergy symptoms including runny or stuffy noses, irritation or itchiness, and sneezing. It also reduces inflammation, making breathing easier for patients. It is usually taken on a regular basis in order to manage symptoms and to prevent more serious attacks. This medication should never be used to treat asthma attacks. It is also only suitable for adults and children aged over 3 years.
How is Budenase AQ Nasal Spray used?
Most patients who are prescribed Budenase AQ Nasal Spray are instructed to use between 0.5mg and 2mg, twice a day. Elderly patients, child patients, and otherwise weak patients are normally prescribed a much reduced dosage.
Adverse effects
The following side effects have been reported by patients using Budenase AQ Nasal Spray:

- Swelling
- Trouble breathing
- Dry throat

Warnings
Immediately proceed to your nearest emergency department if you suffer an allergic reaction. Symptoms usually associated with such a reaction include difficulty breathing or swallowing, chest tightness, swelling, skin rashes, and hives.
Budenase AQ Nasal Spray is not always suitable for all patients. Always consult your health care provider prior to using this medication if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, using any other medication (prescription or non-prescription), using any herbal products or supplements, or if you have any allergies or other health problems such as pulmonary TB (tuberculosis) or any liver conditions.
