Use
Generica Wellbutrin is used as an antidepressant and anti smoking medication by affecting chemicals within the brain.
Dosage
Taken with or without food, Wellbutrin is normally taken once to three times a day.
Wellbutrin should not be crushed, chewed, or divided up for dosage.
Always follow your doctor’s directions when taking medication.
Side effects
Side effects may include weakness, drowsiness or tiredness, dry mouth, excitement or anxiety, changes in weight and/or appetite, insomnia or nightmares.
Side effects to be taken more seriously include constipation, difficultly urinating, changes in sex drive or ability, excessive sweating, headaches, or if your vision becomes blurred.
Precautions
Wellbutrin can be habit forming, so always take it exactly as prescribed. Never prolong your dosage period, increase frequency, or take larger doses than you have been prescribed.
Let your doctor know of any allergies you may have and declare all medication you are taking or have taken within the last 2 weeks. This includes prescriptive, over the counter medication, and recreation drugs.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding, trying to conceive, are undergoing any surgery (including medical surgey). You should also inform your doctor if you have an enlarged prostate, an over active thyroid gland, glaucoma, any liver disease, any kidney disease, any heart diseases, brain tumors, head injuries, eating disorders, or seizures.
Do not drive or operate machinery until you are aware of how your body reacts to this medication as Wellbutrin can leave patients drowsy as a side effect.
Wellbutrin may cause seizures, especially when taken in large dosages and abruptly withdrawn.
