USE
Finast is used to help treat the condition BPH (benign prostate hyperplasia) which can result in an enlarged prostate gland. When BPH is left untreated it can eventually develop into prostate cancer.

Finast can also help hair loss by blocking DHT, a male hormone that causes hair loss, allowing the hair follicles a chance to re grow.

Finast has the same active ingredients as Propecia but at a reduced price, it is the generic version of Propecia.

DOSAGE
Always take Finast as prescribed by your health care provider. Typically Finast is taken once a day with or without food.

For patients taking Finast for hair growth, they should allow at least 3 months to notice any changes.

SIDE EFFECTS
Common side effects of Finast include pain in the testicles, problems with ejaculating, breast tenderness and/or enlargement, decrease in sexual desire and semen, erection difficulties.

Patients with allergies should take extra precaution, if you notice any skin rashes or swelling of the lips a health care provider should be consulted immediately.

PRECAUTIONS
Before dosing, you should always declare all medication you are taking, or have been taking recently (including recreational, prescriptive, and over the counter drugs), as well as any current or previous health conditions (such as prostate cancer) to your health care provider.

You should never change your dosage or frequencey of dosing unless advised to do so by your health care provider.

Pregnant women or those planning to conceive should refrain from any contact with Finast as it is known to cause defects in the sexual organs of male fetuses.
