Herivyl is the generic version of Vasomax and can help to alleviate sexual dysfunction symptoms such as impotence, and ejaculatory failures. Herivyl works by directly or indirectly addressing the blood flow to the genitalia via several different biologic pathways. Two physiological systems, the sympathetic and the parasympathetic, play a role in sexual response. Herivyl controls the erection process through the body's sympathetic system allowing blood to flow into the penis to form an erection. How do you take it? Dosage is usually one tablet approximately 20 mins before sexual intercourse. Do not exceed the recommended dosage by your doctor – this could cause serious complications. What are the side effects? Acute and prolonged hypotensive episodes, tachycardia, and cardiac arrhythmias have been reported. In addition, weakness, dizziness, flushing, orthostatic hypotension, nasal stuffiness, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea may occur. What precautions should be taken?
